Our standards to help maintain and preserve the confidentiality of clients’ nonpublic personal information (NPI) will address how we collect, use, share, and safeguard client information when you interact with our services. This policy applies to all clients through all modes of communication including when you visit our website, contact us directly, or use social media. 

Information We Collect

We gather NPI about our clients strictly to assist in mortgage lending. The information collected is necessary to conduct business with our clients. This information often includes: 

• Your name, address, telephone number, date of birth, social security number,  and photo ID (government issued);
• Employment  history, income (most often pay stubs, and other revenue sources such as social security payments), and assets (most commonly bank account statements,  pensions, and forms of liquid assets);
• Credit history, account balances, payment history, liabilities, and other financial information;
• Property information, such as appraisals, purchase agreements, homeowners insurance, and homeowner associations. 

We may also collect information from third parties on behalf of our clients related to the information collected, like crediting reporting agencies or public records. 

How We Use Your Information

We are with our clients through every step of the lending process, and use the information collected to:

• Process your mortgage application, manage your loan, and provide customer service;
• Verify your identity and check your eligibility for our products and services;
• Communicate with you about your account, promotions, or important dates; 
• Prevent fraud and maintain the security of our systems;
• Improve our products and services to better service you.

Information We Disclose

During the lending process, we may share client information with trusted third parties that help us provide the services requested by you - our clients. This includes:  

• Appraisers, title companies, and credit reporting agencies;
• Affiliates and partners who offer products or services that may be of interest to you; 
• Employers and others to verify the information you have provided; 
• Government agencies or regulators, if required by law to comply with legal obligations;
• Other parties involved in your mortgage process, like real estate agents and insurers.

How We Protect Your Information

Our client’s privacy is of the utmost importance, and we have implemented reasonable security measures to protect your NPI from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include encryption, firewalls, secure servers, and e-sign verification. We also limit access to employees and third parties to only instances when required to perform their job duties as it pertains to assisting with a client’s requests. In addition, our client’s NPI will only be retained for the purposes of providing you with your requested information and as required under law.  

Your Choices and Rights

At any time, our clients have the right to access, update, or correct their NPI held by us. If you’d like to make such changes or have questions about your information, please contact us by using the information provided below. 

Updates to Our Privacy Policy

To ensure that we are meeting and exceeding our clients’ expectations, we may need to make updates to this Privacy Policy and reserve the right to do so. If we make material changes, we’ll notify clients by posting the updated policy on our website and other means required by law.
